Description: THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is February 4, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. This project consists of refinishing the metal railing and replacing the handrail that surrounds the viewing deck at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. The contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract. Project areas are located in Lincoln County on the Siuslaw National Forest. The Government’s Estimate is between $ 25,000 to $ 100,000. This proposed procurement listed herein is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside per FAR 19.14. Estimated start work date is MARCH 1, 2010.
