- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is a Primary Level Field Activity (PLFA) and Inventory Control Point (ICP) of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense (DoD). DSCP intends to add NSN 5450-99-821-3761 for the Rapid In-theater Deployment (Raid7) of Concertainer MIL 7 units to the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract SPM8E6-08-D-0252 awarded on June 13, 2008. SPM8E6-08-D-0251 was awarded for a two-year base period and three one-year option periods in support of the Army and Marines. The Raid7 is sole source to Hesco Bastion Ltd., Leeds, West Yorkshire, England referred to as “Concertainer Defense Walls”. Hesco Bastion Ltd. possesses an internationally recognized design patent for this item, which is described by reference to Hesco Bastion Ltd., part numbers only.
