- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with MTS Systems Corp. of Eden Prairie, MN. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), The contractor is to provide services, repair Maintenance, Recalibration and Perform Factory exchanges on MTS manufactured Hydraulic equipment. (NACIS CODE 334519) Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources submitting proposals within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date is on or around 02/08/10. Interested parties may forward capabilities statements to the point of contact no later than 02/10/10. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, prior to award of a contract.
