- RECOVERY -- The work consists of re-siding, re-roofing and making other improvements such as removing the existing attic vent/louvers, installing a new approved seamless gutter system, replacing two windows, replacing shutters, etc on the office and detached 1 bay garage at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Thames River Basin Office, Oxford, MA. Included also is the re-siding, the installation of a new fully perforated soffit trim, a seamless gutter system, new shutters, window and storm door replacement in the Utility Building at Hodges Village Dam, Oxford, MA. Both the Thames River Basin Office and Hodges Village Dam are located in the same area.The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 8 February 2010 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) which links to the FedTeds website (see below). Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 238170 with a Small Business Size Standard of $14,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
