- The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13) with Intercontinental Buckhead, 3315 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305, as the only responsible source capable of providing conference services and rooms. Specifically, the contractor shall provide (5) conference rooms, along with audio & visual equipment rental, setup, and breakdown. The HIMSS organization, which is the sponsor of the conference, contracts all hotels in the area of the convention. The HIMSS organization then provides a set list of hotels for the DoD to select from for use during the period of the conference. The Intercontinental Buckhead was selected as the Navy hotel for the HIMSS Conference. Due to this selection, Intercontinental Buckhead is the only responsible source for providing hotel conference services. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 721110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0M. Quotes shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Amanda Heller at amanda.heller@med.navy.mil. Statements are due by COB 27 JANUARY 2010. No phone calls accepted. Award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable meeting the brand name requirements of this solicition.
