The Government proposes to acquire, on a sole source basis from Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Orlando, Cage Code 04939, Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Site / Pilots Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) Selected Obsolescence Replacements for the Day Sensor Assembly, which will constitute a Modernized Day Sensor Assembly (M-DSA), including non-recurring engineering, integration and qualification efforts under the authority and justification for Other than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), based on the determination that the Government needs can only be satisfied by one source. Only Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Orlando possesses the technical expertise, data and experience necessary to execute this requirement.
