- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Acquisition Management Division intends to procure on a sole source basis with Boland Trane for diagnostic and repair services, including required replacement of proprietary Trane parts, for two 500 ton Trane chillers under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. It is planned that a firm fixed-price purchase order will be awarded on or about February 1, 2010 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes (RFQ) and a RFQ will not be issued. However, if an interested party has reason to believe it can meet or exceed this requirement they may submit sufficient documentation to support their claim of capability by COB February 1, 2010.
