- SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is for the purchase of all recyclable materials from the IRS, Central Area Distribution Center in the Bloomington, Illinois area. This procurement is a set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111. This will be a one (1) year contract with four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation will only be available on www.FedBizOpps.gov. All government contractors are required to be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award. You may access CCR at the following URL www.ccr.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely thru the FedBizOpps website. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
