- The Solicitation Number for this announcement is N00189-10-T-0124.. Subject to Federal Acquisition Clause 52.215-3 "Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose" this announcement constitutes a source sought synopsis for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk (FISCN) is seeking information on 100% Small Business sources that can provide a single source, Third Party Logistics services for FISCN, Supply Management Department Midwest Activity (SMDMW) Crane, IN. The contractor shall provide support for the stocking and purchase of preservation and packaging materials as defined within the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support the Distribution Division, Preservation and Packaging Area, SMDMW. A key component of the requirement is to provide an automated means to track material usage, provide historical data and determine stocking levels. Place of Performance: NAVFAC Midwest300 Highway 361Crane, IN 47522-5001 For the purposes of Small Businesses, the NAICS Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services, and the Size Standard is $35.5M. The proposed contract is a single award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, with Firm Fixed Price provisions. The period of performance for this requirement will be a one year base and two one-year option periods. Contractors response shall include the following information and can be submitted in your own format: Size of company, i.e., 8(a), WOSB, SB, Veteran, all others, number of employees, revenue for the past 3 years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back 5 years and your company's capability to perform the type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition as specified in the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Standard company brochures will not be reviewed. Submissions are not to exceed five (5) standard size typewritten pages in no less than 12 font. Also, please indicate if your company can be a prime contractor for this effort or, if not, whether your company can be a subcontractor. A draft PWS, and draft Attachment 1 to the PWS are posted in this notice for your reference. All technical questions and inquires maybe submitted within the response.
