- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 12 and FAR 13.5. Solicitation Number N00164-09-R-GM15 will be issued. The Government has a requirement for Qty 1, Analog/Mixed Signal Tester, in accordance with Government specifications, in support of testing for the Trident Missile Program, with an option for a 2nd tester in the following year. Specifications can be requested by contacting Ms. Michelle Richardson, Code CXMQET, at telephone (812)854-6491, Fax (812)854-4848 or e-mail dawn.m.richardson1@navy.mil. This procurement will be negotiated on a competitive, commercial basis in accordance with FAR 6.1, "Full and Open Competition." Trade Agreements do apply IAW FAR 25.4. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. Inspection and Acceptance will be FOB Destination. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 25 MAR 2010 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. "No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed". Interested sources must download from the www site listed.
