- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00178-10-Q-1464 and is issued as an invitation for bids, unless otherwise indicated herein. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a competitive basis the following items:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Modification to clarify the dimensions of the first series of eight (8) each Armor Steel Plates From:Eight (8) each of an inch x 96 inches x 144 inches RHA Armor Steel Plates per Specification MIL-A-12560 Class1. To:Eight (8) each three quarters of an inch x 96 inches x 144 inches RHA Armor Steel Plates per Specification MIL-A-12560 Class1.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two (2) each one inch x 96 inches x 144 inches RHA Armor Steel Plates per Specification MIL-A-12560 Class 1. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used. The order shall be a firm fixed priced order. FOB Destination, 8356 Pumpkin Neck Road King George, VA 22485, shall apply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331221 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Quotes are due no later than 2:00PM (EST) 19 February 2010.
