Description
RECOVERY - This project at East Fork Relief Creek involves the removal of an existing 42" x 79' corrugated metal culvert and replacement with a new 10' 8" x 6' 11" x 80' corrugated steel pipe-arch culvert. Included in the project is excavation and reshaping of the stream channel and the placement of rock bands in the culvrt. Also inlcuded is the armoring of the culvert outlet with riprap rock, as well as, roadway embacnkment construction and roadway surfacing. The East Fork Relief Creek is located on the Red River Ranger District of the Nez Perce National Forest, approximately 9 miles from Elk City Idaho in County, Idaho (Section 22, Township 28 North, Ranger 8 East). The effort at Baker Gulch is to remove and replace the existing 36" CMP stream crossing structure on Baker Gulch, County Road 233 at MP 8.2 on the Nex Perce National Forest with a 7' span by 3'8" rise, structural plate arch. Also included is a detour bypass road to allow traffic to pass. The Baker Gulch project is located on the red River Ranger District of the Nex Perce National Forest, approximately 12 miles from Elk City Idaho in County, Idaho (Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 8 East). There is not a pre-bid or pre-conference scheduled for this effort. Site visits may be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting the Red River Ranger Station, 300 American River Drive, Elk City, ID 83525; (208) 842-2245 The project cost estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WITH ALL SPECIFICATIONS IS SCHEDULED TO BE POSTED ON 24 FEBRUARY 2010.
