Description
The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement for continuation of TACtical SIMulation (TACSIM). This is to announce PEO STRIs intent to award a CPFF modification to Northrop Grumman to include external customer support, which was included in the original TACSIM Statement of Work. The estimated value of this award is approximately $2.2M, with a period of performance of 12 months, plus two 12-month options. This requirement is for the continued sustainment of TACSIM capabilities; integration, testing, installation, modifications, fielding, training, and documentation of the system to JLCCTC sites as directed. It must be understood that the contractor must be completely staffed with qualified (TS/TSCI and Above clearances), experienced and knowledgeable personnel who can continue fulfilling the above requirements for managing, configuring, operating, and maintaining the TACSIM system. The current TACSIM contractor, Northrop Grumman, will be solely responsible for sustainment and all configuration management changes of the system based on planned retirement. The government intends to pursue a sole-source award to Northrop Grumman for this FY 2010 FY 2012 requirement. The point of contact for information regarding this requirement is Patricia Verica at (407) 208-3017. Responses must be sent to patricia.verica@us.army.mil by 3:00 P.M. (EST) on 24 February 2010. This is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR Part 16.
