- *Modification to revise the delineated area, as noted below. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease a minimum of 72,769 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Homewood, AL. The Government reserves the right to consider only existing buildings. Lease term is fifteen (15) years, ten (10) years firm. Space should be ready for occupancy no later than July 1, 2011 or 365 days from lease award. The space must be located within the delineated area noted below: Start at I 50/ I-20/ I-65 West on I-59 South on Akadelphia Road, which becomes Princeton Parkway South/ Southeast on Lomb Ave/ Montevallo/ Martin Luther King West on Spaulding Ishkooda Road (becomes Ishkooda- Wenonah SW ) South on Venice Road/ County Route 93 South on Rose Bridge Parkway SE on 150 (Becomes Bessemer Cut Off) NE on I-459 E on Cahaba River Road E on 38 (Old Florida Short Route) N on 119 (Cahaba Valley Road) becomes Eastern Valley Road becomes 411- Ashville Road To I-20 West on I-20/ I-59 back to starting point For security reasons, the Government requires a single tenant building. Proposed buildings must have a 20-foot setback. Two hundred fifty (250) secured parking spaces shall be available for employees/visitors use. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Site must be located outside the 100-year flood plain. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building’s ownership. All potential locations must be presented by February 23, 2010. Please reference Project Number 9AL2109.
