Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Teledyne RD Instruments in Poway, CA. This is a requirement for the purchase of one (1) Workhorse “Quartermaster” 150kHz SC ADCP-1500m Depth rating, 2 Battery Pack configuration(including a 2000m rated pressure sensor and 256MB Memory Card). The Workhorse Quarter master hardware and software are compatible with currently used NAVOCEANO Equipment. The anticipated contract value is $34,763.00. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price purchase order. NAICS Code 334511 and Business Size of 500 employees apply. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
