- SF1449 and statement of work The Defense Logistics Agency, Contracting Services Office-Battle Creek has a requirement for MHE (fork-truck) maintenance in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4510-10-Q-4007. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business entities. The NAICS code is 811310, “Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance” and the corresponding small business size standard is $7,000,000.00. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), contract. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to all solicitations. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. To be eligible to receive an award from a Department of Defense (DoD) activity, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To register, access the CCR homepage go to www.ccr.gov or call 1-888-227-2423 regarding questions to the CCR. The clauses and provisions included in this RFQ by reference can be accessed electronically at these addresses: http://www.arnet.gov/far/ and http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Contract award will be based upon lowest price. Questions concerning this acquisition must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer listed in this FEDBIZOPPS announcement and arrive no later 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Timely questions and their corresponding answers will be published via formal amendment. Any question received after this date and time will not be answered. Receipt of your quotation package is due no later than 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Wednesday, February 25, 2010. Send your quotation package via surface mail, e-mail or facsimile.
