- SCIENCE SAVVY Companies and Subject Matter Experts seeking exciting opportunities to support Federal Research and Development? Can you help provide innovative science, technology, and analysis to create new industries and jobs? Want to be part of the Green Services Revolution? The General Services Administration, Region 2 (New York) plans to launch a new Multiple Award Schedule in 2011. The new SCIENCE SCHEDULE Solicitation will be open and continuous. Contractors will be able to apply for a 5 year IDIQ contract to provide professional services in support of a wide array of Federal Customer Agency R&D projects. Firm Fixed Pricing associated with this new MAS Schedule should be based upon your established Commercial Market rates and Fee Schedule. The scope of the Science Schedule includes but is not limited to all of the following major business lines: Pure and Applied scientific professional services (directed and non-directed research; classical inquiry, investigation, observation, experiment and studies). Sub-Categories : Natural Sciences : physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth science,ecological sciences, life sciences/biology; Social Sciences : Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Sociology, Political Science; Cognitive Sciences : Computer science, Neuroscience, Linguistics, Psychology, Philosophy; Formal and Applied Sciences : Agronomy, Architecture, Military Science, Statistics, Systems Science, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Spatial Science including Avionics and Photonics. All interested contractors are encouraged to provide complete contact information to the Contracting Officer, Tony Zaza at Tony.Zaza@Gsa.Gov. This initiative is planned to commence in 2011. We will contact all interested parties and post the Open and Continuous Solicitation (there will be no end date). Application to and award off a GSA MAS Schedule Contract does not guarantee work but will provide the premier best value conduit to all federal Civilian and Military organizations to procure professional services quickly and cost-effectively.
