Solicitation for a U.S. Personal Services Contractor – Off Shore Hire - Democracy and Local Governance Office Director in USAID/Macedonia USAID/General Notice USAID/General Notice PERSONNEL USAID/MACEDONIA 01/13/2011 Subject: Solicitation No. 165-11-01 for a U.S. Personal Services Contractor - Off Shore Hire - Democracy and Local Governance Office Director in USAID/Macedonia ISSUANCE DATE: January 13, 2011 CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: January 31, 2011 CLOSING TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: 5 PM Macedonia Time (CET) Ladies/Gentlemen: The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications (Optional Form 612) from qualified U.S. citizens interested to provide services as Democracy and Local Governance Office Director in USAID/Macedonia under a Personal Services Contract (PSC), as described in the attached solicitation. Submittals shall be in accordance with the attached information at the place and time specified. In order to be considered for the position a candidate must meet the required qualifications listed in the solicitation. Interested qualified applicants must submit all the materials required by the solicitation such as (but not limited to): (i)A U.S. Government Optional Form 612 (available at the USAID website, http://www.usaid.gov/procurement_bus_opp/procurement/forms or internet http://fillform.gsa.gov, or at Federal offices); Applicants should note that the salary history for the purposes of the OF-612 is the base salary paid, excluding benefits and allowances such as housing, travel, educational support, vehicle use, etc. Applicants are reminded and required to sign the certification at the end of the OF-612. Unsigned applications shall NOT be considered. (ii)A most current curriculum vitae (CV) or resume. (iii) At least three supervisor references including e‑mail addresses and working telephones. (iv) A cover letter, or a brief appendix, demonstrating how they meet the required qualifications and evaluation criteria. Electronic submission of applications is recommended.
