- Pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics in the estimated amount of $46,127.00 to purchase In Vitro Test kits and lease of an analyzer. The period of performance is for a three month period starting 1 OCT 2015. This action is to allow time for a follow-on long term contract to be solicited and awarded. This requirement is for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. Responses received will be considered for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to Scott Barr at scott.a.barr.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
