Description

SERVICESCAS supports NNSA by providing reviewing and analyzing technical/scientific and programmatic activities associated with the Agreement, making recommendations on the activities, supporting the Federal program manager during negotiation and subsequent execution of topic/weapon system specific agreements as authorized under the Mutual Defense Agreement, and reviewing and making recommendations regarding the transmission of Restricted Data/Formerly Restricted Data through JAIEG. CAS provides technical support to assist in fulfilling mission responsibilities for ensuring that the release of atomic information to a foreign government or regional defense organization by agencies of the United States Government in accordance with the DE-DT0012654 Page 2 Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, along with agreements with foreign governments made pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act, and the applicable SDs as interpreted in the JAIEG-2 Handbook
