- Description
- The USDA Forest Service has a requirement to provide locally sourced Longleaf Pine seedlings for regeneration of harvest units�to be delivered to the Croatan National Forest, located in Craven, Carteret and Jones County North Carolina. The total number of seedlings required are approximately125,000. Tree seedlings that are planted in a geographic area need to be grown from a seed source that comes from a compatible seed zone. Per FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) Purchases not exceeding the Simplified Asquisition Threshold.�This requirement shall be purchased from�the locally collected seed source. Potential Award: State of North Carolina/National Forest of North Carolina In the event there is a local source to the state of North Carolina specific to the Craven, Carteret and Jones County North Carolina email the contracting officer Takele TK Woldu via email takele.woldu@usda.gov no later than July 25, 2020.
