Description: The project includes the installation of fifteen (15) tie-downs on the fixed-wing parking area. The parking area is paved, and pavement will need to be cut out for each tie-down. Soils under the asphalt parking area have not been tested. Prior construction, including the parking area, indicates that the underlying material is alluvial cobbles/clay with an imported base course of crushed aggregate under the pavement.
