- This is a Sources Sought synopsis.� This is not a solicitation.� The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify other qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation for the purchase the following items: 1)� Special Cable Assembly, NSN: 5995-01-496-2412CS, P/N: FL51242-2 (2 foot length), Quantity: 277 each 2)� Special Cable Assembly, NSN: 5995-01-496-3703CS, P/N: FL51242-5 (5 foot length), Quantity: 62 each Predominate Material of Manufacture: 2 standard fill connectors and a 3 pair wire cable Detailed technical data and drawings for the manufacture of this item are not available from the Government.� The current sources for these items are Custom Cable Solutions, Inc., CAGE:� 1B5X6, DCX-CHOL Enterprises, Inc., CAGE: 30463 and Alpha Products, Inc., CAGE: 8U759.����� Any interested source that can meet this requirement is invited to submit a written qualification package and must receive approval from the National Security Agency (NSA) to produce these items.� Such approval must be received prior to contract award.� The written qualification package must include the following information: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to produce such items, 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have produced these items for, and 4) type of business. Interested sources are requested to submit a package by close of business on 16 Apr 2021, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time.� All data received in response to this announcement marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government.� Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only.� The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
