RFQ-NIH-6243218 SHIPPING BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS AND INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCES AND DIAGNOSTICE SPECIMEN COURSE This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price Contract plus two twelve month option years that will be issued from this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 24 tailored training classes in Shipping Infectious Substances and Diagnostic Specimens. Of these 24 classes, 15 will be full-day courses and 9 will be half-day refresher courses. These courses will provide personnel with the knowledge and certification to package and ship by air or ground transportation: Category A Infectious Substance Biological Substance, Category B Exempt Human Specimen Exempt Animal Specimen Genetically Modified Organisms/Microorganisms Dry Ice Liquid Nitrogen in Dry Shipping Container Specimens on Wet Ice Please see the attached Statement of Work for entire requirement description.
