Description
FY22 STRI REMOVE HAZARDOUS TREES OFFSITE AND TRAIL Amendment 0001: 02/0/9/22 extend solicitation until Spring 2022 per COR. The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a project that will consist of Pruning approximately 50 trees and complete removal of up to six (6) dead or seriously diseased trees within the park�s trails and off sites in order to let the desired established vegetation grow better. This will also minimize the most severe hazards to the park staff, visitors and the cultural landscape itself. Remove all hazardous limbs that could cause bodily injury or property damage. Also this project would include pruning of dead or diseased branches up to a working height of 60 feet. Please see the statement of work for more details. For the purpose of this contract all work must be completed between March 30th and June 1st then finish up if need be August 1st to September 30th. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $30,000 - $45,000. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for Murfreesboro, TN will apply. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730. It is the contractor�s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by mid-February 2022. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors. Bidders must be able to provide references of applicable experience in order to receive the award.
