- This Notice is being issued by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Building 100 Houston Texas 77030. The Government intends to issue a request for quote on or about 1 April 2022 for the procurement of up to 20 Specialty and 7 General Registered Nurse services to support the Intensive Care Unit and other critical areas of need for the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Houston Texas 77030. It is anticipated that this requirement will be a Service Disable Veteran Owned Set Aside pursuant to VAAR 819.7005 VA service-disabled Veteran-owned small business set-aside procedures. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The requirement is for a total of 31,104 hours as follows. Registered Nurse Specialty 23,040 hours Registered Nurse General 8,064 hours Anticipated period of performance is 1 November 2022 to 31 May 2023. Submit any questions regarding this notice not later than 13 February 2022 to Frank Mendoza at Francisco.Mendoza@va.gov. Submit responses to this notice by 15 February 2022. Offerors may submit Market Research pricing for the Specialty and General Registered Nurse categories. If a solicitation is issued, Offerors are encouraged to assess the market for these labor categories for the next 12 months to Offer a competitive pricing at the time the responses to the solicitation are due. This notice complies with the requirements of FAR 5.201. The Government reserves the right to cancel or amend this notice at any time before issuance of the solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Department of Veterans Affairs to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice.
