- 11 January 2022 This update changes the PSC code from�1710 - AIRCRAFT LANDING EQUIPMENT to 1720 - AIRCRAFT LAUNCHING EQUIPMENT, as the plugs are part of a launch valve.� No other changes have been made.� 10 January 2022 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst in support of the Prototype, Manufacturing, and Test Division is seeking sources that can provide twenty (20) ILLLV Left Hand (LH) Plugs (P/N 626727-6), and twenty (20) Improved Low Loss Launch Valve (ILLLV) Right Hand (RH) Plugs (P/N 626725-6). The Contractor shall meet all technical and quality assurance requirements detailed in the drawings listed below as well as the Technical Data Requirements (TDR) 21-17033 and 21-17032, and (Quality Management 1006) QM1006. Drawing 629303 Revision A: Plug, Weldment & Rough Machining (for P/N 626727-6 and 626725-6) Drawing 626725-6 Revision D: Plug, RH Thread Drawing 626727-6 Revision D: Plug, LH Thread This RFI is to determine whether there are any contractors capable of supplying the ILLLV LH and RH Plugs. Responses to this RFI shall be sent by e-mail to LeAnn Spann at leann.s.spann.civ@us.navy.mil by the date and time designated in this posting.� THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.� This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes.� It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. �Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. �Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. �If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the SAM.gov website. �It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
