- Please see attached document THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District has a requirement to replace the tainter valves on Lock and Dam (LD) #2 in Hastings, MN. LD #2 was constructed in 1930 and has been in operations ever since. The valves allow water to flow into and out of the lock chamber to raise and lower river traffic. This RFI is to clarify some issues. Please see attached document
