- The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS), Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 has a repair requirement and intends to solicit one source for the purpose of awarding this contract. NSN: 4Y-6125-013316866; 70 kW Motor Generator Set repair of QTY 2 EA, in support of the TRIDENT Planned Equipment Replacement Program, (TRIPER) which supports Ohio Class submarines. DPAS Rating will be DX. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335312- Motor and Generator Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The RMC code is 3D (Sole Source). The solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic means approximately 15 days from this posting.
