The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide a Respiratory Cough Device System at the Edward J. Hines VAMC. VA Hines Respiratory Cough Device System Salient Characteristics BRAND NAME (SYNCLARA SYSTEM,) OR EQUAL: Salient Characteristics: a. Must be Commercial Grade b. Must be CEE Tier II and Energy Star Qualified c. Must be electric d. Stackable due to space constraints e. Stainless Steel Wash Basket f. Microprocessor controls g. One-Touch Cycle Selection h. Front Serviceable i. Reversible Door on Dryer j. Minimum Capacity: Washer 3.2 cf to 4 cf / Dryer 6 cf to 8 cf k. Overall height not to exceed 74 l. Overall width not to exceed 27 m. Overall depth not to exceed 29.5 General Requirements: Device update latest Y.T.D models required Device availability is critical Device provides safe effective cough clear secretions Device provides a safe, non-invasive alternative to suctioning, to remove secretions from the lungs Device must it significantly decreases the risk of developing a chest infection.
