- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source award to AbilityOne contractor Bayaud Enterprises, Inc. for mail carrier service at Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Resource Management. The Firm-Fixed Price Base and 4 option year contract will provide continue service. This proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is qualified nonprofit agencies for the blind or other severely disabled 41 U.S.C. chapter 85, Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (see subpart 8.7). This is a ""Notice of Intent"" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice no later than 10:00AM ET on August 28, 2024. The determination to not compete the proposed acquisition is wholly within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for paying on any costs incurred and/or associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice.
