- The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Project Manager for Soldier Lethality (PM-SL) is seeking potential sources to supply the M1014 semiautomatic combat shotgun and commercial variations along with associated spare parts, tools and training. Technical Data Packages (TDP) are not available as they are proprietary and not US Government owned. The US Government is also seeking concurrent Spare Parts (CSP) kits for the above model weapon systems, as well as � la carte Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts, inclusive of all parts. Tools include special tools required for operator/armorer maintenance tasks. The training includes an Armorer and Operator courses. In responding to this Sources Sought Notice, respondents should provide the following information: Company Name? ?? Company Address? ?? Company point of contact and phone number?and email address?? Taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code Major partners or Suppliers? ?? The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Is your business considered a small business based on your NAICS Code (please identify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business)?? ?? Commerciality: (a) Our product as described above, has been sold, leased or licensed to the general public. (b) Our product as described above has been sold in substantial quantities, on a competitive basis to multiple state and local government. The development of the product was done exclusively at private expense. (c) None of the above applies. Explain:? ?? Please provide a general indication of pricing and order quantity discounts, if applicable.? Please provide a detailed description of your capability to deliver the M1014 combat shotgun (i.e. production rate) and commercial variations, associated spare parts, and tools including optional configurations and CSP kits. Describe how your company acquired the technical data to these weapon systems that will be used for production as well as the status of your production capability and capacity. Details should include technical descriptions of the weapon systems, included accessories and lists of spare parts offered � la carte as well as those included in CSP kits. Please state the location where primary work will be performed (if more than one location, please indicate the percentage for each location).? ?? Identify manufacturing, managing and engineering experience of like items of equal or greater complexity.? ? Identify existing facilities, equipment and workforce (identify what percentage would be supporting this new effort and what additional resources would be required).? ?? Identify lead-time, including supplier/design qualification efforts and production ramp up time, to meet full capability for production and sustainment.? ?? Please provide a detailed description of the configuration compatibility of your shotgun with existing M1014 for weapon operation and parts interchangeability. Provide a detailed summary of test results validating complete interchangeability results with statistically significant sampling with the existing M1014 configuration.? Provide a detailed description of your ability to comply with Item Unique Identification (IUID) machine-readable information (MRI) requirements as described in MIL-STD-130, Identification Marking of U.S. Military Property and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.211-7003. Provide any available data related to testing performed to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-130 specifically as it relates to permanency and legibility. Direct identification marking of the serialized receiver (e.g., by laser) capable of withstanding the intended life cycle should be addressed. If another method is described, that description should include an explanation of the method�s relative merits and why it is the equivalent or superior. A detailed description of your capability to provide training classes as described above for class sizes up to 20 students.
