Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is acquiring a large format printer to support its printing needs for specialized radioactive labels. These labels must be printed on high-performance vinyl materials that can withstand a wide range of storage temperatures, including extremely cold conditions. The new printer must match the performance and configuration of NIST�s current equipment, using specific software and color settings to maintain precise color quality and durability. The purpose of this acquisition is to ensure consistent, high-quality label production for safety and regulatory compliance. The contractor will provide a printer that meets specific printing and cutting standards, along with comprehensive support services. This includes installation, user training, preventive maintenance, and prompt on-site repair services.
