This is a modification of synopsis published on 25 Mar 96, PRDA 96-13-AAK, Incremental Upgrade of Legacy Systems (IULS). The WL Guide entitled, ''PRDA and BAA Guide for Industry,'' found on the Internet prior to 29 Mar 96 was an outdated version of the guide. As of 29 Mar 96 the guide found on the Internet is the correct version. In Part D, Proposal Preparation Instructions, Paragraph (3), Technical Proposal, the fifth sentence - ''Additional information on prior work in this area'' refers to the area of Virtual Prototyping with VHDL. In Part D, Paragraph (4), Page Limitations - the 50 page limitation for technical proposals is clarified to exclude the ''additional information on prior work in this area, descriptions of available equipment, data and facilities, and resumes of personnel'' described in the preceding paragraph (3).
