- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M9332402T0062.This is a Request for Proposals (RFP). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2001-08 and DCN 20020730. This is unrestricted under simplified acquisition procedures.The following item is intended to be purchased for the Government: Quantity of 100 EA. Maytag, top mount refrigerators (Brand Name only, no substitutions) Performa model #PTB1952GRW. Salient characteristics are as followed: Dimensions of 19 cu.ft., height 67 ??, depth 31 1/8?, width 32 3/8?. Full-width slide-out wir e refrigerator shelves. Reversible doors. Color: White. All responsible sources may submit an offer. All Contractors submitting a proposal are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. The website for CCR is www.CCR2000.com. The following FAR/DFAR provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms And Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b) apply to this acquisition: (22) (24) and under Para (e) the following apply: (1), (2), (3), and (4), FAR 52.217-6 Option for increased quantity. The following DFAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implemen t Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b): DF AR 252.225- 7008 Supplies to be Accorded Duty-Free Entry; DFAR 252.232- 7009 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. Proposals are solicited FOB destination to Camp Pendleton, CA. Delivery is required for all items on or before 16 October 2002. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Technical offers shall be submitted no later than 4PM 11 September 2002 to Sgt DENK or SSgt MARQUEZ via fax or E-mail. Technical offers can be sent via US Postal Service to Regional Contracting Office, Po Box 1609, Oceanside CA 92051-1609 ATTN: Sgt DENK or SSgt MARQUEZ. If offer is to be sent via Federal Express, address should read Regional Contracting Division, Bldg. 22108 MCB , Camp Pendleton CA 92055, ATTN: Sgt Denk or SSgt MARQUEZ Faxed offers should be addressed to at (760) 725-4346, and clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to ensure receipt. Offerors bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the proposal reach the designated office before the deadline specified in the solicitation. Technical offers shall include a completed copy of the provision ? Commercial Items (best way to complete this certification is to download the FAR clauses (volume II) at www.arnet.gov/far, print out the clause FAR 52.212-3, and fill in the appropriate blanks). DO NOT SUBMIT PRICING WITH YOUR TECHNICAL OFFER. Pricing will be determined utilizing a REVERSE AUCTION. All technically acceptable proposals may participate in the reverse auction. The reverse auction will take place on 13 September 2002 at 12PM (PST). Award is anticipated on 16 Se ptember 2002. Proposals, including price, are binding for 30 days.
