Description
SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT REQUISITION NUMBER M20371-02-SU-V0191 This is a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source procurement to Cincinnati Electronics Corporation 7500 Innovation Way Mason Ohio, (513) 573-6586. Items to be procured are for the purchase of Item #0001 (2) each CLSM Omni-Directional Antenna, Olive Drab UHF/VHF SatCom with built-in amplifier, complying w/mil-std-188-181 through 188-183. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals or quotations reviewed in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their Expression of Interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. Interested persons shall furnish d etailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all quotations received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to the Contracting Office, USMC, Post Office Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92055. Federal Express should be sent to Contractin g Office, Bldg, 22180, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. All others not sent through the U.S. Postal Service will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried quotes must be delivered to Building 22180, Contracting Office, Camp Pendleton, CA. Direct delivery of quotes are only possible during weekdays. Quotes may be submitted by facsimile transmission. Facsimile quotes are subject to the same rules as paper quotes. The telephone number of receiving facsimile equipment is (760) 725-8445 or (760) 725-4346. The complete original shall be submitted if requested by the contracting officer. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that quotes and any authorized modifications reach the designated office on time and should allow a reasonable time, Attn: GySgt Juanita Moore. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and O pen Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
