- MARKET RESEARCH AND SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The government is issuing the sources-sought announcement as part of a market research effort to obtain information on commercially available product or solution to provide a drainage system for a Martial Art pit that is approximately 36? x 66? in diameter with a depth of 12? that is currently filled with a crushed rolled tire rubber compound. The current Martial Art Pit needs to be brought above current standing water level or some type of drainage method to keep the ground water from collecting inside the pit. Solutions should provide a 3-D graphical layout display of a drainage system or alternatives for raising the level of the specified area. Please include examples of systems currently available to support the above-specified operation. Multiple solutions may be presented to meet the various needs specified, if appropriate. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement or incurred for participation will NOT be reimbursed.
