- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis, one (1) High Performance Dispersive Raman Microscope System meeting the following requirements: Optical/Raman microscope with automated aperture and alignment optics, automated calibration source, automated laser attenuation filters, brightfield/darkfield reflective light illumination, transmission illumination, and high sensitivity CCD camera detector compatible with lasers specified as follow. Spectrometer Frame that supports sampling through Raman microscope and macro sampling. Microscope enclosure to ensure Class I laser safety, interlock to ensure laser light is blocked when compartment is open, and laser safety goggles. Motorized microscope stage with high resolution (~ 0.1 micron), auto focus capability, and X, Y, and Z motion control. Video and eyepiece viewing of sample, color video camera, necessary cables for capturing and displaying image on computer, and trinocular viewer. Dual laser system with high power 785 nm laser, 532 nm laser, Stokes/Antistokes Raleigh rejection filter for 785 nm laser, Raleigh rejection filter for 532 nm laser, Quad diffraction grating for 532/785 nm system including both high and low resolution gratings for each laser, laser on/off switching, laser selection and power must all be controlled by the computer software for the Raman system. Software for Dispersive Raman system including data collection and manipulation, library searching, spectral interpretation, analysis programming, and video viewing with point and click interaction and sample size calibration. Microscope objectives with100x long working distance objective and 50x objective. Macrosampling capability including necessary adapters with automated sample positioner, NMR tube holder. A fiber optics sampling will not satisfy the needs for macro sampling because of losses from the fibers and fiber coupling. Automated laser polarizer with parallel and perpendicular laser polarization rotator. Rama n spectral libraries with at least 1000 spectra. Installation and training with installation by factory trained service representative, service representative must be available within 300 miles to minimize travel cost and wait time for repairs. On site training by company representative must be familiar with operation of the Raman system. The solicitation will be posted on the navy Electronic Commerce Online website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/SearchServlet on or about 30 November 2005. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). All responsible offers will be considered for award.
