- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA is seeking to identify potential small businesses capable of providing aerosol spray paints, which consist of the following colors: Green, Brown, Black, Tan, Sea Foam Green and Base Coat. These aerosol spray paints must be designed for military field and shop maintenance and it must meet the military infrared spectrum requirements detailed in MIL-C-46168D (ME). Per EPA regulations, the coatings must comply with the current regulations and policies concerning aerosol emissions and inventory. This is a market research tool to determine the availability of sources prior to issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Marine Corps team, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. The Government is not responsible for the cost associated with any effort expended in responding to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS) for this procurement is 325510 and the small business size is 500 employees. STATEMENT OF CAPABILITIES (SOC) SUBMITAL REQUIREMENTS: The statement of capabilities will determine the feasibility and/ or basis for the Marine Corps to establish this requirement as a Small Business set-aside acquisition. Interested firms who qualify as a small business must submit a SOC, which describes, in detail, the firm's capability of providing these aerosol spray paints. The Government reserves the right to request additional information as needed from any and all respondents. The SOC must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's capabilities to provide the defined supplies.
