The solicitation, an Invitation for Bid, pertains to Job Order Contracting (JOC), a indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract. The resultant contract will be established for one year with four option years. The projects or job orders issued against this contract will encompass a broad range of maintenance, repair, renovation and minor construction work on real property located at the Pennsylvania Air National Guard Base, Pittsburgh International Airport, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. All necessary plant, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision shall be required to complete each project. The projects may involve, but may not be limited to, excavation, demolition, asphalt and concrete paving, roofing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, painting, and masonry. The projects will vary in size and dollar amounts. Each job order will range from a minimum amount of $5,000 to a maximum amount of $300,000. Total contract value to include option years will be no less than $25,000 with a $5,000,000 maximum limitation. The contractor will be required to be located, by virture of a main office or a satellite operation base, within an area permitting a maximum of two (2) hours response time for emergency situations. The projected date for availability of the solicitation will be 18 April 1995 with a projected Bid Opening Date of 18 May 1995. The solicitation will be unrestricted. Only fifty (50) copies of the solicitation will be available on a first come first serve basis. At no cost, the solicitation may be inspected at the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville, Pennsylvania no later than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the Bid Opening Date. With your request for a solicitation, each firm must include their Federal Tax Identification Number, corporate status and business size. Corporate status means a firm's designation as a (1) sole proprietorship, (2) partnership, or (3) other corporate entity. For deterining business size, the Standard Inudstrial Classification for this acquisition is 1542. The small business size standard for this classfication is 17 million - average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal yars.
