Z -- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE TO ALERT CONTRACTORS OF A FORTHCOMING SOLICITATION FOR REPAINT CEILINGS IN BUILDING 960 AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION, LEMOORE, CALIFORNIA Sol. N62474-95-B-3552. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for removal and disposal of lead containing paint, painting the underside surface of the existing metal roof deck and steel beams, and cleaning of all interior and exterior surfaces of existing skylight panels of dirt, rust and other contaminants, above the two training pools in Bldg. 960. The work also includes the covering the pools, including removal and reinstallation of existing ductwork and lighting fixtures necessary to prform the work and incidental related work. This is a firm fixed price contract. Potential bidders should request IFB N62474-95-B-3552 in writing. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should as early as possible, but no later than 10 calendar days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued unrestrcted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all busines concerns as well as from SDB concens. Tenative issue date on or about 03 April 1995 with opening date 30 days later.
