Maintain, Repair, Upgrade NDI Facility, HTUX 96-0005 A/B/C at the 440th Airlift Wing, General Mitchell International Airport, 300 East College Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53207-6299. This project will have three separate line items and will be awarded on the total aggregate amount of those line items. Project Maintain NDI Facility, HTUX 96-0005A consists of the painting of all shop walls, roof decking, piping, fixtures, panels, cabinets, doors and frames, labels, and marking. Also includes installing vinyl wall covering in the office area and urethane floor coating in other selected areas. Project Repair NDI Facility, HTUX 96-0005B consists of removing and replacing all light fixtures and bulbs, replacing all exterior doors, replacing floor tile, refurbishing photo lab, replacing carpeting and base in office areas, replacing all fire alarming devices, and providing new signage. Project Upgrade NDI Facility, HTUX 96-0005C consists of providing air conditioning in the shop areas, installing foyers at three exterior doors, installing insulated siding on the exterior walls, and replacing existing built up roof, flashing, down spouts, and gutter. Also included is the installation of a fire sprinkler system and a watt hour and demand meter. Project HTUX 95-0006C is subject to statutory limitations of $300,000. Estimated construction magnitude is $100,000 - $250,000. Performance time will be 100 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Mar 95. This acquisition is set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). Bid packages are available to PRIME contractors ONLY.
