McCall, GP26/Contracting Officer The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to perform the repair of roofs at Building 4207 and 4752 as follows: Building 4207: Work will consist of removal of existing built-up roofing systems and accessories, including utilization of asbestos abatement techniques -- Preparation of the existing roof deck substrates to accept new insulation and modified bituminous roofing will be required -- Existing rooftop mechanical and electrical equipment and piping are to be modified as necessary to install new roofing system -- Existing gutters, downspouts and flashing are to be removed and replaced -- Building 4752 (low bays): Work will consist of removal of existing built-up roofing systems and accessories, including utilization of asbestos abatement techniques -- Preparation of the existing roof deck substrates to accept new insulation and standing seam performed and prefinished metal roofing on metal trusses will be required -- Existing rooftop mechanical and electrical equipment and piping are to be modified as necessary to install the new roofing system -- Existing gutters, downspouts and flashing are to be removed and replaced -- Worksite is the George C.
