Craven, (412)365-5437 Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment to Install a complete sprinkler system and perform partial asbestos abatement of Building #7 (Main Kitchen, Patient Dining Room, Administration Offices and Mechanical Rooms) at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA. 15206. Contractor shall be responsible for asbestos abatement in areas shown on the contract documents and for designing and installing a complete sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA and all applicable codes. In some areas there is existing metal pan ceilings, the ceilings are to be demolished and new ACT ceilings shall be installed. This project also includes upgrading wiring and lighting fixtures in areas where the new ACT ceilings shall be installed all in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. Work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after the date of the receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated solicitation date is July 12, 1995.
