The work shall consist of but is not limited to: a) Install continuous and jointless synthetic liner inside sanitary sewer pipes of various sizes, b) Replace various sizes of sanitary sewer pipe from manhole to manhole, c) Perform point repairs that consist of replacing segments of sanitary sewer pipe that are generally 10 feet or less in length, d) Restore reinforced concrete ditches, e) Restore asphalt, concrete, gravel, and city street surfaces, f) Remove parshall flume and replace with sanitary sewer pipe. This is a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The performance period will be 180 days. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 17 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Only mail or facsimile requests for bid packages will be accepted.
