Jennings, (716)344-3308 Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the work required for Project No. 95-101, Construct Elevator, Building 5. Project work involves, but is not limited to, the construction and installation of a hydraulic passenger elevator No. P-1 which provides service to the second and third floors of Building 5 at VA Medical Center in Batavia, New York. The elevator shall be oil hydraulic type with single car selective collective automatic operation with car leveling device, signal system, power-operated two-speed side slide car and hoistway doors. The Contractor shall construct an exterior masonry elevator shaft complete with structural foundations and related sitework and an elevator machine room. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC Code 1542 applies. Performance period is 270 calendar days. A 90 calendar day acceptance period is required. All requests for bid packages must be in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable payment of $40.00 in the form of a company check, certified fbank check, or U.S. Postal money order made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
