Sealed bids for award of firm-fixed price construction contract to Replace Penthouse Roofs at the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. Work includes complete demolition and removal of existing built-up roofing system (with the exception of the existing vapor barrier) and other miscellaneous items as indicated. The built-up roofing system includes insulation, 4-ply roofing membrane, flashing, counter flashing and gravel ballast. The existing vapor barrier shall be left in-place with the contractor responsible to repair any damage deemed to have resulted from demolition operations. Cost range is between $25,000 and $l00,000.
