McDonald Contracting Officer (Site Code DAAD05) The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment and perform all work necessary for the installation of two new boilers with associated equipment at building E-5126 at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The work includes but is not limited to removal of asbestos items, lead paint, existing boilers and associated items, existing chemical treatment systems. Installation of new boilers, new chemical treatment system, new fuel pumps. Option item 1 to remove and install new 400 KW/500 KVA emergency generator. Option item 2 to provide economizer systems for new boilers. Option item 3 install new condensate/flash tanks with associated piping, Option item 4 Install new automatic continuous blowdown system. Option item 5 install excess oxygen trim system for each boiler. Option item 6 remove existing and provide new No. 2 fuel oil storage level. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract performance period is 546 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
