(Site Code DACA05) This project consists of services to include operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility located at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Work shall include treatment of wastewater, corrective and preventive maintenance, minor maintenance and repair, operation of treatment facilities, report preparation, laboratory analysis, and other services. Contract will be written for a base year and four option years; options may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 4952. The size standard for this SIC code is: $5.0 million. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirment for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 55.0% for small business, 8.5% for small disadvantaged business, and 3.0% for small businesss/woman-owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Plans and specifications for this project must be ordered by the CUT OFF DATE of 22 Oct 96 to ensure receipt of bid sets. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE will not be honored. There is NO CHARGE for the specifications or drawings; however, only one set is available per offeror for there are only a limited number available.
