Wimbush, Contracting Officer, 301- 344-0298 Pre-Solicitation Notice - The contractor shall renovate the north wing (Pilot Plant) at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research NCAUR) at Peoria, Illinois. Significant elements of work include: a. construction of four pilot plants, two stair towers, and a handicapped ramp; b. mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades; c. reconfiguration of piping systems; and d. construction of egress corridors, offices, storage spaces, and conference rooms. The total estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Time for completion of construction will be approximately 660 days or 22 months after notice to proceed is issued. A Pre-Bid Conference will be scheduled midway through the bid phase.
